Values shown are commercial ranges. Grits and Lumps are a commercial size distinction, not a purity distinction — the SiO₂/Fe₂O₃ specification stays the same across all three forms. What changes is handling: Powder suits glass and ceramics batching lines, while Grits and Lumps suit foundry and bulk processes where a coarser feed is easier to melt or crush on-site. Buyers new to the trade often ask for a form by habit rather than necessity; confirming your process equipment first avoids ordering a size that then needs re-grinding.
