Values shown are commercial ranges. Brightness and Fe₂O₃ are the parameters ceramics/paper buyers check first, because iron content is what limits how bright and white the fired or coated result can be — even a small increase in Fe₂O₃ shows up as a visible tint. Processed grades carry a tighter Fe₂O₃ ceiling and higher, more consistent brightness than Crude; Crude is the lower-cost option where the end use tolerates natural variation.
